What this build is not
Some of this is now real. Accounts, workspaces, channels, the messages you send and every connection are rows in a database; Gmail and Calendar are a genuine Google consent flow. The assistant answering you is not. It is worth being precise about which is which, because the whole point of the thing is that you can trust what it tells you.
The agent is scripted, not thinking
Replies are chosen by matching a few words in what you typed. Nothing is sent to a model, no reasoning happens, and the same message will always get the same answer. The receipts under each reply are fixtures — they are the right shape and the wrong numbers.
Two connectors are real, three are not
Gmail and Google Calendar are a genuine OAuth flow: Google's own consent screen, PKCE, a refresh token encrypted at rest, and a grant you can revoke from your Google account or from here. Shopify, Stripe and Xero are not built — pressing Connect on those flips the row and says, in the sentence underneath it, that nothing was actually authorised.
Connections are stored. Nothing else is
Your connections are real rows in a real database, which is why one survives a refresh and the next visitor sees it. Channels, messages and the digest are still fixtures: what you type in a channel lives in the tab you typed it in, and closing the tab is the end of it.
The demo is one workspace, shared
Registering gives you a workspace of your own, with its own channels, its own transcript and its own connections. The demo is different: it is one seeded business — a coffee roastery called Harbour & Vine — that everybody who opens the link lands in. Nothing you type there is saved, and a connection made there is made for everyone, so connect an account you do not mind sharing.
Billing is real. Nothing is charged yet
The $699 subscription is a live Stripe product, and starting it opens Stripe's own hosted checkout — no card detail touches this site and there is no Stripe code in the page you are reading. It begins with a fourteen-day trial, so nothing is taken on the day you subscribe, and a workspace works whether or not it is subscribed. That last part is a Phase 1 decision, not a promise.
Your email address is not checked
Registration confirms the address itself rather than sending you a link, so you are in the workspace within a second of pressing the button. What that gives up is proof the address is reachable — a workspace can be created against one somebody mistyped. It is the first thing to add once there is anything worth protecting behind it.
None of these require the front of this app to be rebuilt, which is what the first phase was for. Sign-in, workspaces and the connections were on this list a fortnight ago and are not on it now.
